Frequently Asked Questions For Our Clients

FAQs About Master Design Custom Cabinetry

Building your dream space may come with some questions. And assisting our clientele in resolving these concerns is an important part of our design process. Below are some FAQs that clients have about Master Design Custom Cabinetry’s services.

Where Can I Purchase Master Design Custom Cabinetry?

Master Design is only available through our design team. You can visit our showroom, or we can come out to you to ensure you get the best customer service.

Is Master Design Cabinetry Customizable?

Yes! At Master Design, our cabinets are designed and built to fit your exact needs. We work closely with our clients to make their vision come to life.

How Long Does it Take to Receive My Cabinets After Placing an Order?

Turn around time depends on the complexity of your project. In general, our Master Design team aims to have your order delivered as soon as the final designs are approved – typically this ranges from 10-16 weeks (as the supply chain permits).

How Do I Get a Price Quote From Master Design?

Since we specialize in custom work, a quote must be provided by one of our designers. For price-range inquiries, we recommend speaking with a Master Design Cabinetry Designer to help you take advantage of all of the services we have to offer.

What if the Color or Style I Want for My Remodel is Not a Part of Master Design’s Collection?

Master Design offers a core collection of colors and styles for our customers to select from. Should you not find exactly what you are looking for, we will work closely to match any color or style to maintain your vision.

Will the Color Finish Vary?

At Master Design, our goal is to make your dream come to fruition. The color swatch that you decide on will be the color of your cabinetry.

The color of stain cabinetry may experience some variation. Every piece of wood – even those cut from the same tree – is unique. Our shop works hard to ensure that the materials used match as closely as possible to the stain of your preference.

What is Master Design’s Warranty Policy?

Our cabinets are designed with the intention of longevity. All manufactured products are inspected before installation to ensure there are no defects in materials or workmanship. They are built to withstand normal home use for as long as the client owns the product.

What Tips Do You Have for Caring for My Cabinets?

You’ve invested in custom cabinetry, so invest in caring for it as well. Routine cleaning and maintenance on your cabinets are essential for keeping them looking ageless, and it’s simpler than many people realize.

The following basic care tips will help you keep your cabinets looking new and polished for years to come:

  • Keep your cabinets dry — wipe any spills up as soon as they occur.
  • Clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. (Consider purchasing a few to reserve only for your cabinet cleaning.)
  • Use only a mild detergent and warm water as needed.

Do Not:

  • Drape damp cloths or dishtowels over cabinet doors — excessive moisture can cause long-term damage.
  • Clean with sponges or dishcloths — they may contain residue of grease or detergents that can damage your custom cabinetry.
  • Use products with harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, or baking soda. Also, avoid waxes and polishes.
  • Wipe cabinetry with scouring pads or any steel wood tools that could leave your cabinet surfaces scratched.
  • Store small kitchen appliances that emit heat (toaster, coffee maker, etc.) on your cabinet surfaces.
